As a hospitality major in college, Lisa knew from a young age that event planning would be in her future. As a child, Lisa often found herself drawn to wedding publications and asking to attend bridal shows. In 2012, with the launch of Nightingale Events, Lisa was able to officially make her mark on the event planning industry. Providing clients the tailored, fun, accessible support she discovered was needed during her own wedding planning experience. Lisa is always excited to discuss creative ideas and help clients navigate the not so fun aspects of event planning, such as: challenging guest lists, strong outside opinions, and everything else that can distract from a joyful event.
Nightingale Events has been featured as a leading event planner in Hartford Magazine, The Courant, Southington Magazine, The Knot, Wedding Wire, Simply Eloped, and Carats and Cake.
A planner who often becomes a friend, Lisa places great emphasis on allowing clients to be guests at their own events. From big planning moments, such as saying “Yes” to the dress, to organizing complicated logistics, to sewing a button onto a suit, Lisa is passionate about all aspects of an event running smoothly, giving her clients, and their guests, an event they will remember forever.
